A man from the South Coast will face court after allegedly driving while more than six times over the legal alcohol limit in the Barossa on Saturday night.
Police were called to Balmoral Road at Cockatoo Valley about 8:40pm on the 2nd of May, following reports a Holden sedan had crashed into a fence.
Officers spoke with the driver, a 57-year-old man from Goolwa, who allegedly returned a breath test reading of 0.312.

The man was reported for multiple traffic offences, including drink driving and driving while suspended. He was issued an immediate 12-month loss of licence, and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
