Police are appealing for witnesses following a workshop fire at Mannum.
Police, paramedics and CFS and MFS fire crews responded to reports of a large building fully engulfed in flames on Adelaide Road, Mannum at 10.45pm on Friday 28 April.
Neighbouring residents were evacuated as a precaution. There were no reports of injuries and the fire was contained to the building.
The building, which contained a lithium battery business, was extensively damaged and is not structurally sound.
Residents were warned to stay indoors and keep windows closed due to potentially toxic smoke emanating from the fire.
Adelaide Road was closed until around 4.30am on Saturday morning.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.

In a seperate incident a shed at a Mannum North private property on Pernong Road also caught ablaze the morning before, on Thursday 27 April around 6.40am.
