Narelle Zanker has been announced as the 2026 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award winner for South Australia.
The Mannum local was recognised for her Dairy Adventures business, in which visitors can interact and learn more about the farming process on their 4,000-acre mixed property.
It marks a significant turnaround for Zanker, who previously was a schoolteacher in 2023 before choosing to focus on educating others in a different capacity.
In its first year, Dairy Adventures welcomed more than 1,200 visitors; from preschoolers to retirees, schools, aged-care and disability groups, running up to four tours a week and earning a silver medal in the New Tourism Business category at the 2025 South Australian Tourism Awards.
Zanker will receive a $15,000 Westpac grant for her win, along with representing SA at the National Awards in September.
