A man has died following a two car crash at Wattle Flat in the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Police and emergency services were called to Main South Road, about six kilometres south-west of Myponga, just before 10.30am on Sunday 24 May.
A Mitsubishi hatchback and a Toyota 4WD towing a caravan had collided. The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 35-year-old man from North Plympton, died at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, a 69-year-old man from Western Australia, sustained minor injuries and was treated in hospital. His passenger, a 67-year-old WA woman, remains in hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Major Crash investigators attended and examined the scene.
The man’s death is the 45th life lost on South Australian roads this year.
