More than a dozen local businesses and organisations have been recognised at the 2026 Murraylands Business Awards, held at the Bridgeport Hotel in Murray Bridge on Friday night.

The awards – presented by Murray Bridge News, 5MU and Power FM, and with support from major sponsors Drakes and Golden North – returned for a second year after the success of the inaugural event in 2025.

Almost 150 people attended the gala evening, with winners decided following a public voting campaign that attracted almost 3,300 votes across the various categories.

The event was MC’d by Adam Connelly and Jennie Lenman from 5MU and Power FM, alongside Murray Bridge News founder Peri Strathearn.

The awards are about recognising the businesses, organisations and operators that help drive the Murraylands economy and strengthen community connections across the region.

Several businesses claimed back-to-back wins, including Little Local Co, Murray Mallee Aged Care, 1924 Riverfront Steakhouse and Jedz Pizzeria, while Farm Fresh Market took home two awards on the night.

Sponsors and presenters throughout the night praised the resilience of local businesses and the important role they play in supporting jobs, services and community life.

The awards also introduced two new categories this year – Best Community Organisation and Best Big Business or Chain.
