Forty-seven businesses from Murray Bridge and surrounding towns have been nominated in the 2026 Murraylands Business Awards, presented by 5MU, Power FM and Murray Bridge News with support from Drakes and Golden North.
More than 1,000 voters cast almost 5,600 votes for more than 1,000 different businesses during this year’s nomination period.
Following the successful inaugural Murraylands Business Awards in 2025, the initiative is back this May to celebrate the incredible work of small and large organisations across the region.
Finalists have been decided by a popular vote, rather than a panel of judges.
Murray Bridge greengrocer Farm Fresh Market leads all local businesses this year by having been named a finalist in three categories: best coffee, best customer service and best retailer.
There are also several finalists in two categories this year including Mannum’s Mallens Electrical and Randell Street Bakery, Murray Bridge-based pet supply store Critter Cube, supermarket Drakes, bookshop Fiction and Friction, and the Murray Mallee Aged Care Group.
A second round of public voting will decide the winners in each category ahead of a gala awards night at Murray Bridge’s Bridgeport Hotel on the 29th of May, with a complimentary drink on arrival courtesy of the hotel.
