Local tourism operators are feeling the pinch of international flight cancellations caused by the Middle Eastern conflict.
Approximately 50 flights from overseas have not made it to Adelaide Airport, with tourism businesses in Adelaide Hills and Kangaroo Island reporting no-shows in the lead-in to the typically busy Easter period.
It coincides with increased fuel prices for bus operators and also follows a tough 2025 for local tourism operators who were forced to contend with a protracted algal bloom event.
