Whale Watching Season Underway After Local Sightings

Whale watchers have had their first taste of the season to come, with sightings off of the south coast this week.

A Southern Wright was spotted between West Island and Kings Head at Victor Harbor at around 3pm on Wednesday afternoon, and earlier seen by whale enthusiasts between Rosetta Wharf and Wright Island.

The SA Whale Centre says it could be the first resident cow mother in waiting for the season.
