A wanted man has been arrested, after he had his tyres spiked in Narrung last week.
Murray Mallee Police were conducting investigations into the whereabouts of a 43-year-old Queensland man, who was wanted in relation to assault offences.
His vehicle was spotted on Poltalloch Road, prompting PolAir to track the man while police set up spikes in the distance.
Police were then able to arrest the man after the spikes were deployed, however not before he assaulted two officers.
The man was charged with two counts of assault a prescribed emergency worker, resist arrest, property damage, unlawful possession and breach of intervention order.
He did not apply for bail, and faced court last Wednesday.
