A fortnight-long investigation has caught two drivers who nearly caused a disastrous crash in Currency Creek.
Police were alerted to an incident on Goolwa Road around 1.30pm on Monday 12 May, where a Holden SUV was forced to veer off the road when two cars coming from the opposite direction dangerously passed a truck.
The driver of the Holden SUV was not injured in the incident.
Dashcam footage led police towards a 24-year-old man from Edwardstown and a 36-year-old from Flagstaff, with both drivers fined $1030 and issued a loss of four demerit points.
SA Police are continuing to remind anyone who witnesses unsafe driving to contact police immediately by calling 131 444.
