A range of local primary schools will be part of a new program for Years 4-6, which aims to increase their exposure to different trades at an earlier age.
The State Government initiative works in collaboration with industry to create projects for students, such as SA Power Networks and the reduction of power blackouts from bats or park linkage for inner-city councils.
The initial pilot program begun with five schools across the state last year, however popular demand has seen almost 50 schools join the initiative.
Local schools that will be involved include Coomandook Area School, Crafers Primary School, Karoonda Area School, Lenswood Primary School, Oakbank School and Stirling East Primary School.
