Thieves have ransacked a shipping container in Mannum, stealing a large quantity of copper cable and high-powered flood light fittings.
Between 6pm on Monday 26 May and 6.30am on Tuesday 27 May unknown suspects broke into a storage container at an oval on Belvedere Road.
Mid Murray Council in partnership with the Mannum Football Club were hoping to have the Mannum Oval Towers and Lighting project completed in the next few weeks, but there may now be delays as a result of the thefts.
