A man is in custody following the suspicious death of a woman from Encounter Bay overnight.
Just after 7pm on Sunday 19 November, emergency services were called to Wark Court at Morphett Vale after reports that a person was unresponsive inside a home.
When police arrived they located a 39-year-old Encounter Bay woman who had died at the scene.
A 40-year-old Morphett Vale man, who was known to the woman, was arrested at the home. He has been charged with murder and refused bail to appear at the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today (Monday 20 November).
