UPDATE: The Karoonda Highway has been reopened after a serious crash at Wynarka this morning.
At 8.20am Friday 7 July emergency services were called to the Karoonda Highway between Wynarka and Chapman Bore after reports of a two car crash.
The driver of one of the cars, a woman, was airlifted to the Flinders Medical Centre with critical injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, 63-year-old Mallee man, was also taken to FMC with non-life threatening injuries.
Major Crash officers are investigating the crash.
The Karoonda Highway was closed for several hours but reopened just after 3.00pm.
