A man is in hospital following a serious crash at Chain of Ponds.
Just after 11pm last night, Wednesday 1 November, police and emergency services were called to South Para Road near Adelaide Gully Road, after a silver Volvo sedan crashed into a tree before sliding down an embankment.
The sole occupant, a 21-year-old man from Highbury suffered serious injuries and was transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition.

The road was closed for about five hours while Major Crash officers attended and examined the scene, but has since been re-opened.
