A man has been arrested following investigations into a serious assault at Mannum last night.
Just before 10.15pm on Sunday 12 May, police and emergency services were called to a Mannum address after reports a woman had been assaulted by a man known to her.
When police arrived, they located a 41-year-old woman in the driveway. She was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Following investigations, a 51-year-old Mannum man was located and arrested this morning, Monday 13 May. He is currently being interviewed by detectives and is expected to be charged later today.
