The SA Voice to Parliament is a step closer to realisation, with nominations now open for the state’s six regions.

Only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are able to nominate and vote in the election, which aims to create an advisory body for the State Government.

The beginning of the election process comes 10 months after the SA Voice to Parliament was legislated, in order to run separately from the national referendum last year.
