A threatened species of bat has made a seasonal home in Victor Harbor.
Grey-headed flying foxes are roosting in the South Coast city after leaving their usual base at Adelaide’s Botanic Park.
Experts say the animals are vital pollinators and seed disperser, which forage at night and return to camp before dawn.

They warn however that you should not touch or handle any bat despite their rarity, as they can be carriers of disease.
