A couple have been arrested in a stolen car with stolen number plates on the South Eastern Freeway this morning.
The Gold Lexus Sedan, which was reported stolen in Victoria last month, was spotted driving at speeds towards Adelaide from Murray Bridge at around 4.10am today, Thursday 14 December.
About half an hour later police received reports the car had pulled into the Crafers West arrestor bed.

It’s alleged the 23-year-old man and 29-year-old woman in the car tried to leave the scene when patrols arrived.
The pair, from Queensland, have been taken in for questioning.
