Police are investigating two recent crashes involving cyclists, one serious and one that has turned fatal.
A 72-year-old Christies Beach man has died from injuries sustained in a crash at Seaford earlier this month.
Emergency services were called to The Esplanade at Seaford about 7.45am on Saturday, 11 July, after reports a cyclist had been found injured.
The man was treated at the scene and taken to hospital with serious injuries, but died on Saturday, 18 July.
Major Crash Investigators continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
His death is the 63rd life lost on South Australian roads this year.
Serious Crash at Woodside
Police are also investigating a serious crash involving a cyclist and a car at Woodside.
Emergency services were called to Nairne Road about 1.45pm on Saturday, 18 July, after reports of a crash involving a cyclist and a Subaru station wagon.
The cyclist, a 58-year-old local woman, was treated at the scene by SA Ambulance and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Subaru, a 23-year-old local man, is assisting police with their enquiries.
