A truck driver has been taken to hospital after crashing into a tree at Macclesfield in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to Venables Street just after 2am, where the truck had left the road and collided with a tree.
SA Police said the driver was initially trapped inside the cab before being freed by Country Fire Service crews. He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening head and leg injuries.

Hills Fleurieu police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
