An 18-year-old Murray Bridge man has been charged over the fatal crash which killed 19-year-old Poppy Crozier in Ki Ki last month.
Major Crash investigators arrested the man after a lengthy investigation, and charged him with cause death by dangerous driving.
He was bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on 14 August.
Emergency services were called to a serious crash between two cars and a truck on the Dukes Highway, Ki Ki about 6.45pm on Friday 26 May.
He suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries in the collision, while a 35-year-old male truck driver from Burton was not injured.
A petition created by local Megan Quick in the wake of the incident, which calls for the State Government to prioritise improving road infrastructure in regional areas, has gathered more than 6100 signatures.
