Mt Compass Man Stabbed in Suspected Road Rage Incident

Police have arrested a man following a stabbing at Myponga.

Emergency services were called to Myponga Oval just before 5pm yesterday, Thursday the 26th of March, where a 52-year-old Mount Compass man was found with a stab wound to his back. He was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 27-year-old Myponga man was arrested at the scene and charged with assault causing harm. He was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today, Friday the 27th of March.

Police say investigations are still in the early stages, but it’s believed the incident followed a dispute between the two men on the road.
