We have some new designs for the Mount Barker Hospital!
Following a community and clinical consultation period, the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network have provided an update on the plans for the $320-million Wellington Road upgrade.
The hospital is expected to triple inpatient capacity, going from 34 beds currently available to over 100, the maternity and paediatrics wings will also be expanded, a 12-bed mental health unit will be established, and a cafe and community garden and multi-level car parking also set to be built.

The development application will be lodged for assessment by the State Planning Commission later this year.
