Police are investigating a serious hit-and-run crash at Murray Bridge.
About 7pm Sunday 20 August, police were called to the intersection of Old Princes Highway and Hein Road after reports a silver car had collided with a motorbike and then fled the scene.
When police arrived they found the rider of the motorbike, a 45-year-old local man, with serious injuries but, thankfully they have now been deemed non-life threatening. He was taken by SAAS to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.
The intersection was closed for several hours while Major Crash Investigators attended to assist local patrols, but has since been reopened.
The investigation is ongoing.
