Hills Man Allegedly Caught with Weapons in Car

A driver from the Adelaide Hills has been caught with weapons in his car, according to SAPOL.

Just before 2am this morning, Thursday 27 August, Mount Barker patrols stopped a Mitsubishi ute on Dutton Road, Mount Barker.

While speaking with the driver, officers allegedly noticed an extendable baton tucked beside his seat.

Police searched the vehicle and allegedly located a second extendable baton and a set of knuckle dusters.

The driver, a 43-year-old Lobethal man, was reported for possessing prohibited weapons and will be summonsed to appear in the Mount Barker Magistrates Court at a later date.
