A Murray Bridge man has been arrested after police allegedly found seven gel blasters and other prohibited items during a search of a local property.
Murray Bridge investigators attended the home at about 9.15am on Monday and conducted a search.
Police allegely found seven gel blasters, a machete and drug paraphernalia.
A 34-year-old Murray Bridge man was arrested and charged with multiple firearms offences and possessing a prohibited weapon.
He was granted bail and is due to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on September 30.
Police have reminded the public that gel blasters are classified as regulated imitation firearms and must be handled and stored in accordance with the Firearms Act and associated regulations.
Police say significant penalties can apply for the misuse or improper storage of firearms, including gel blasters.
