There has been a large fire at Enviro Scrap Metal Recyclists in Murray Bridge this morning.
CFS and emergency services were called to the scrap yard just before 6am.
Thomas Street has been closed between Cyprus Terrace and Netley Road, with motorists asked to avoid the area.
