South Australia’s road toll is now 90 following the death of a pedestrian on the Southern Expressway and a motorist on Victor Harbor Road at Willunga Hill.
About 10pm on Wednesday 11 October, police and emergency services were alerted to a truck and car collision.
The driver of the prime mover, a 34-year-old man, and his passenger a 3-year-old, both from Kangaroo Island, were uninjured and were taken to Flinders Medical Centre where they were kept under observation.
The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota sedan, a 36-year-old man from Semaphore Park, died at the scene.
Victor Harbor Road has been closed to all traffic between Pages Flat Road and Yundi Road.
It follows the death of a man from Sellicks Beach who was struck by a car on the Southern Expressway at Bedford Park.
This time last year South Australia’s road toll was 57.
