The Murray Towns finale is set, the Great Southern competition is down to 4 and the Hills competitions have locked in their finals fixtures. Catch up on all the action here:

MURRAY TOWNS CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)

The Murray Towns grand final will be a rematch of last year, after Mannum claimed Saturday’s prelim final against the Wanderers by three wickets.

The Kookaburras were forced to dig deep to return to the final, after the Wanderers made a competitive 151 from their 45 overs in part thanks to Cameron Cox’s 56.

Joshua Hancock and Jayden and Dwayne Krollig all cleared 30 runs in the chase, guiding Mannum home with 7 overs to spare. 

Mypolonga will host Mannum in the final from 1pm at Mypolonga Oval.

GREAT SOUTHERN CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)

Two powerhouses of the Great Southern have survived the first week of finals, as both produced great bowling performances to advance through their elimination finals on Saturday.

Willunga bowled Yankalilla out for just 66, with Sean McIvor and Simon Roberts taking nine wickets between them in the 85-run win. 

Noarlunga beat Mount Compass by 54 runs after bowling the Bulls out for 102, however the man of the match went to Cameron Bullard, who made 120 of his side’s 156 runs. 

Next week’s semi-finals are now set, with Encounter Bay to play Noarlunga and Port Elliot to face Willunga.

Mylor has swiped the last spot in the Hills Cricket Association finals from Aldgate in dramatic fashion on Saturday.

In a matter fitting of the unpredictable regular season, Aldgate lost to seventh placed Kangarilla to open the door for Mylor, who beat Meadows comfortably to move into fourth. 

Mount Lofty also secured top spot by beating Scott Creek Ironbank by 8 wickets. 

Next week’s matchups will see Mount Lofty and Scott Creek Ironbank play again in the qualifying final, while Stirling will host Mylor in the elimination final.

ALEXANDRA AND EASTERN HILLS CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)

The final round of the season saw no movement on the table, with Langhorne Creek making a huge statement by thrashing Strathalbyn to keep them in third.

After posting 4/277 thanks to James Dawson’s 116 and Daniel Kropp’s unbeaten 83, Langhorne Creek bowled the Stallions out for just 82 in an innings which featured three golden ducks.

The finals are now set, with Langhorne Creek to face Lobethal in the qualifying final while Nairne will take on Strathalbyn in the elimination final.
