Cause of Milang Driver’s Death in Mt Barker Determined

Following an investigation into the death of a Milang man at Mount Barker in May, South Australia’s road toll has been revised.

About 9.40am on Monday 15 May, police and emergency services were called to Adelaide Road after a Ford utility veered off the road and collided with road signs and a street light.

The driver and sole occupant of the Ford, a 75-year-old man from Milang, died at the scene.

His death has now been determined to be due to medical issues.

As a result, his death will not be counted in the number of ‘Lives Lost’ on SA roads. The current number of lives lost is 104 compared to 65 at the same time last year.
