Police are investigating at Carrickalinga after a four-wheel-drive crashed through a house, causing significant damage.
Just before 1.30pm on Saturday 10 February, a brand-new Nissan Patrol was parked on a hill overlooking Carrickalinga.
According to SAPOL, the unattended car rolled downhill through a reserve and collided with a house on Elizabeth Crescent, exiting out the other side, off the balcony and landing in the front yard.
Police believe the driver did not apply the car’s handbrake prior to exiting the vehicle.
There was no one inside the car or house at the time and there were no injuries reported.
CFS and SES members attended to shore up the structure, which was reported to contain asbestos.
