A stretch of Mannum Road between Murray Bridge and Mannum is set to go upgrades to improve safety and freight efficiency.
A joint-State and Federal spend of $800,000 will go towards safety upgrades at multiple locations on a 30-kilometre stretch of Mannum Road, as part of the nationwide Road Safety Program.
Upgrades will include Audio Tactile Line Marking and safety barrier installation.

An investment is also being made on the Barrier Highway and both projects will support 50 full-time-equivalent jobs over the construction period.
Works in both locations begin this month and are expected to be completed by March 2025.
