‘Between The Fires’ stands as Troy’s most intimate album yet, offering insight into the profound challenges he has faced in recent years. Following the heartbreaking loss of both his parents, most recently his mother, Troy found himself at a pivotal juncture in his career and personal journey. Seeking solace, he retreated to his late mother’s property at Halfway Creek near Grafton, NSW, armed with nothing but a guitar and the flicker of a campfire. It was here that Troy poured his heart into crafting the deeply personal songs that would ultimately define his forthcoming album ‘Between The Fires’.
