Three Bridges Festival: Chamber Music in Murray Bridge

A new festival in Murray Bridge offers an unforgettable chance to be immersed in the sumptuous
traditions and innovative spirit of chamber music with South Australia’s finest chamber musicians.

Over two days, talented chamber musicians and ensembles from South Australia will present an
array of performances that promise something for everyone.
The diverse program spans modestly priced ticketed concerts and soundscapes in the theatre of
the Performing Arts + Function Centre, to kids’ music composition workshops and FREE
performances at Murray Bridge Regional Gallery set amidst the Red Heart of Australia touring
exhibition from the National Museum of Australia.

Audiences can enjoy concerts featuring local soundscape composer Jesse Budel, evocative First
Nations songwriter Nathan May paired with a Baroque string quartet, the innovative Kegelstatt
Ensemble and Inkling Trio, as well as rising local pop/acoustic artist Katie Aspel. The program will
include pieces by celebrated composers like Erwin Schulhoff, Osvaldo Golijov and Vivaldi, as well
as contemporary compositions and experimental improvisations.
