PAWS WALK Murray Bridge

Come along to the Paws Walk at Sturt Reserve, Sunday 18th May at 11 am. This is a free event run by Murraylands Animal Welfare Watch, towards giving dogs a fun day of socialising and walking for a good cause.

Participants will meet on the corner of Olympic Drive and Murray Cods Drive, to take off for a walk around the perimeter of Sturt Reserve (once or twice) and return to socialise with a complimentary doggie cupcake as a reward for effort!

This event is a spin off from the annual RSPCA Million Paws Walk events which used to run all throughout South Australia. Sadly, the RSPCA has announced the event will end, and it is holding its final Paws Walk the following weekend, and only in Adelaide city.

MAWW hopes to continue annual walks into the future, likely raising funds for the RSPCA or other animal welfare bodies. They also see the Walk as a means for local dog owners to meet and get to know each other.

Bring your dogs, on leads, to this free event on Sunday 18th May at 11 am. There will be QR codes for you to donate to the RSPCA or bring a few coins for the fundraising tin. See you there!
