Oakbank Community Fun Day with the Lexus Melbourne Cup!
From The Adelaide Hills on its way to Flemington: The Melbourne Cup trophy makes a stop at our local country fair!
The iconic Lexus Melbourne Cup trophy is coming to the Oakbank Country Fair as part of its Australian Tour!
The trophy will be making a special appearance at The Oakbank Community Fun Day on 20th September, giving South Australians the opportunity to get up close to one of Australia’s most famous sporting trophies without having to travel to Flemington.
Since 2003 the Melbourne Cup Trophy has journeyed across Australia and the world and we are excited to be the host on its leg through South Australia. Come on down to see it on display from 11am – 1pm, where you will have the chance to see and get happy snaps with the iconic 18ct Gold plated Trophy!
This event is a celebration of all things country, bringing together live music, food and drinks, local makers, line dancing, workshops and plenty of family fun.
We are expecting a great turnout from families and race lovers for a great Family day with Beautiful Spring weather
