Marilyn Jetty Swim
Due to overwhelming demand, we have reached our capacity and registrations for the 2025 event are now closed.
If you know a Marilyn who is participating, we encourage you to support them by donating to their swim!
Cancer Council SA’s Marilyn Jetty Swim is an iconic part of the annual Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic which sees hundreds of South Australians swim or paddle 400 metres around Brighton Jetty—dressed head to toe as ‘50’s icon Marilyn Monroe.
Started by local Brighton resident Sarah Tinney, the event has now grown into one of Cancer Council SA’s most unique fundraising events.
This year is already a record-breaking year for the Marilyn Jetty Swim with over 700 Marilyns taking the plunge at Brighton Jetty, and the blonde bombshells hoping to raise $400,000 for South Australians impacted by cancer.
This year’s event will mark 12 years of the Marilyn Jetty Swim with the incredible Marilyns already raising over $1.3 million to date.
All money raised through the Marilyn Jetty Swim will fund Cancer Council SA’s vital prevention, research and support services including experienced Cancer Council 13 11 20 Nurses who, in the past year alone, have connected with around 4,800 South Australians seeking cancer information and support.
