International Day of People with Disability 2024

The Rural City of Murray Bridge, in partnership with Genuine Support Services Australia, invites the community to celebrate the International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) on Friday 6 December 2024, from 10.00am to 1.30pm at the Murray Bridge Rowing Centre, between Wharf Road and Murray Cods Drive.

Observed worldwide as a United Nations (UN) day, IDPwD promotes awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disabilities.

In Australia, this day unites government bodies, schools, organisations, businesses and individuals to foster a more inclusive society for the 5.5 million Australians living with a disability.
