Happy’s Game

Daniel “Happy” Gilmour has made significant contributions to Jervois Cricket Club and, more importantly, to the entire Association. 

Over the past few years, Happy has faced serious health challenges, and unfortunately, he will soon be unable to continue playing cricket. 

 In recognition of his tremendous impact, we would like to ensure that Happy finishes his cricket journey with a memorable game. To that end, Jervois CC will be hosting “Happy’s Game” on December 7th at Jervois. This event will serve as both a celebration and a fundraiser, bringing together players—past and present—who have had the privilege of playing alongside or against Happy. 

It will be a day to remember, one that reflects the spirit of the Association.

Both past and present players, supporters, and community members are all invited to attend.

Additionally, we welcome any support in the form of ideas, donations, or services to help raise funds for Happy and his amazing family, whom have supported him to do what he has for us all across the years. 

Player Nominations: To help us organize the teams, we kindly ask that each club nominate two players who have competed against Happy in the past. These individuals do not need to be active players, so please consult with especially those from your club who were involved during Happy’s time in A-grade cricket.
