20 Years of Bald Eagling

ONE OF THOSE CRAZY –
CRAZY – NIGHTS!
In their first-ever Fringe show at the best showroom in the city and celebrating
20 years on stage, Adelaide’s own Bald Eagles will play The Ark (Arkaba Hotel)
on Sunday March 22
The celebrated cover band – believed by many to be the best interpreter of the
Eagles’ extensive repertoire – began entertaining Australian audiences in 2006.
Twenty years later: more than 20,000 tickets sold through countless gigs in top
showrooms, theatres, wineries and pubs.
Since their Fringe debut in 2009, the Bald Eagles have sold out almost every year
and become legends for musicianship, heavenly harmonies – and cheeky wit.
Front-liners Alan Rosewarne and Col Koch – both sprightly 70-something year
olds – wear their (almost always) ‘Sold Out’ badge with humility – “and
(sometimes) paisley”!
The Bald Eagles also features some of Adelaide’s best-known working musos:
George Klironomos (ex Hindley Street Country Club), Gary Isaacs – veteran of
shows with Shorrock, Morris, Camilleri and more; Lainie Jamieson – in demand
for her keyboards and vocals; Dave Branton – a “drummers’ drummer” and Bob
Armitage – a (happily married) Bachelor of Music; plus acclaimed strings duo
Catherine Hannaford and Kathryn Angus.
Voted “Best On Fridge” four years running – they’re shooting for a fifth in 2026 –
For one night only the Bald Eagles play ONE OF THOSE CRAZY NIGHTS at The Ark (Arkaba Hotel)
Sunday March 22 at 7pm. Tickets at Fringetix.
