14th National Holden Monaro show
The Monaro Special Event Committee welcomes you to the 14th Monaro Nationals. The SA Nationals have previously been held in the Riverland and Barossa Valley – so this time we are heading to the hills and surrounding regions.
The theme of this event is “Drive On” which was the current Holden advertising slogan when the 2001 Monaro was released 25 years ago. It’s great to look at Monaros with all their style, colours and models. However owners and drivers have the opportunity to fully experience and enjoy much more.
Our event gives the drivers opportunity to the race track, city outskirts and back to the hills. We chose green and yellow as our event colours as they were the hero colours on many Monaro models and reflect the colours of the Adelaide Hills in spring.
While the main focus of this event is to celebrate all Monaros we also salute models that with a milestone anniversaries being the 50th year of the HX/LE and the 25th year of the V2 ( new monaros).
The Show n Shine is being held at the Mount barker showgrounds on Saturday the 10th of October from 10am to 4pm for the public to visit and look at over 280 cars on show.
Entry is $5 with kids under 16 free.
We have multiple food stands, RSL BBQ, face painter and animal balloons, and the Hahndorf Farm Barn animal zoo.
Event Hotline is 0428 979 028 (Fiona).
