24 Hour Australian International Pedal Prix

The 24 hour Australian International Pedal Prix, the largest human-powered vehicle (HPV)
race in Australia, is returning to Murray Bridge from 18 to 20 September 2026 for an
exciting weekend of endurance racing, innovation and community spirit.

Building on nearly four decades of competition, the event will mark the 40th running of
Pedal Prix, which has been held at Sturt Reserve since 1997.

The event provides spectators with a unique opportunity to witness engineering
excellence, sporting endurance and community camaraderie, all set against the
picturesque backdrop of the Murray River.

The main event begins at midday on Saturday, 19 September, when Mayor Wayne Thorley will
officially drop the start flag, sending hundreds of riders onto the circuit for 24 hours of
non-stop racing. The race will conclude at midday on Sunday 20 September.
