Southern Moto was established in 2021 by Victor Harbor local Sam Hutchesson.
Sam has 15 years trade experience and a lifetime of riding & racing motorcycles. Growing up on a farm he enjoyed hands on work and performing maintenance on his own bikes. He progressed into the motorcycle industry and completed his trade as a technician at Victor Motorcycles. He has experience in all facets of motorcycling such as road, off road and agriculture, spanning across a multitude of makes & models. Racing has also been a large part of Sam’s life and has gained valuable experience throughout many years of competition.

In the spare parts & accessories department is Ben Mayne.

Ben also has a lifetime of motorcycling experience, and like Sam has been in the industry from a young age. His passion for motorcycling and his knowledge is an asset to Southern Moto.

Ben has a background in motorcycle electrical prior his time working as a parts interpreter. He has raced motorcycles his whole life and has knowledge across all areas of the trade.

Ben also competes on a sidecar against Sam in the South Australian Reliability Trials series. A bit of healthy competition is enjoyed in the workplace.

Sam & Ben may be relatively young, however they offer combined experience of over 25 years in the motorcycle trade.
