One of the Hills’ most successful footy products will stay in Victoria, with the Melbourne Demons re-signing midfielder Tom Sparrow for five more years.

The 26-year-old is enjoying a career best season, averaging 22.5 disposals, 6.3 tackles and 5.4 clearances a game and had attracted strong interest from Port Adelaide as the Power aimed to bring him back to his home state.

He will instead remain with the Demons until 2031.
