The Italian movie star of huge hits such as 8 1/2 and Pink Panther, Claudia Cardinale, has passed away at the age of 87.
Being born in Tunisia in 1938, Cardinale had an extensive career in both fashion and cinema, even so. much as winning a beauty contest at the age of 16 where she was dubbed “the most beautiful Italian woman in Tunis”. Cardinale was a huge name during Italy’s growing age of cinema, even working with some of the times greatest directors Frederico Fellini and Luchino Visconti.
Cardinale passed away in the company of her family in Nemours, France.
