Police are continuing their investigation after a fatal crash at Oakbank in the Adelaide Hills yesterday morning.
Just after 7am Monday 15 September, police and emergency services were called to Onkaparinga Valley Road following reports that a car had collided with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 76-year-old man from Mount Barker, was taken to hospital but later died.
It brings the lives lost on SA roads to 61 in 2025, three more than this time last year.
The driver of the Kia SUV, a 55-year-old woman from the Adelaide Hills, was uninjured.
Major Crash Investigators attended to examine the scene and they are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
Onkaparinga Valley Road was closed for several hours and re-opened after SA Power Networks personnel completed repairs to power lines bought down in the crash.
