The promoters of FIRE FIGHT AUSTRALIA (#FireFightAustralia) today announced their final additions to the already star-studded line-up – with global superstars 5 Seconds of Summer confirmed to perform in their hometown.
In tandem with this announcement and to further enhance their contribution to the fundraising effort, 5 Seconds of Summer have also launched a very special new clothing range through their not-for-profit brand Friends Of Friends. Designed by artist Micah Ulrich and available worldwide exclusively at wearefof.com, all profits from the range will go to the Red Cross.
A very limited and final allocation of tickets to FIRE FIGHT AUSTRALIA will be released and available for purchase from 10am (AEDT) TODAY via www.ticketek.com.au. With over 65,000 tickets selling in under 5 hours, this final allocation is expected to sell out in a matter of minutes.
FIRE FIGHT AUSTRALIA runs from 1pm till late at ANZ Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park on Sunday 16 February 2020.
5 Seconds of Summer, along with Michael Buble, join a stunning line-up of performers at FIRE FIGHT AUSTRALIA, including global rock legends Queen + Adam Lambert, k.d. lang, Alice Cooper and Australian music industry heavy weights (in alphabetical order): Amy Shark, Baker Boy, Conrad Sewell, Daryl Braithwaite, Delta Goodrem, Grinspoon, Guy Sebastian, Hilltop Hoods, ICEHOUSE, Illy, Jessica Mauboy, John Farnham, Lee Kernaghan, Olivia Newton-John, Peking Duk, Pete Murray, Tina Arena and William Barton.
5 Seconds of Summer is now the only band (not vocal group) in chart history to see its first three full-length studio albums enter the Billboard 200 at No. 1. This US chart success mirrors Australia, where Youngblood became their third consecutive ARIA chart-topping debut. It has already sold more than a million copies, whilst 2018’s smash hit single Youngblood is now 10x Platinum in Australia alone. 2019 saw the band release 2x platinum single ‘Easier’ and platinum single ‘Teeth’.
