Luke Perry dead at 52 - Hollywood mourns the loss of the much loved actor who failed to recover from a stroke
Leaving Neverland doco premieres – The long-awaited Michael Jackson expose that has the whole world talking is finally airing this week, and I don't know anyone who won't be watching this. As you may recall, it debuted at Sundance earlier this year and audiences were offered counselling afterwards, it was reportedly so traumatising. For those who want to check it out for themselves, you can stream it in its entirety this Friday from 10.01am on 10 Play or you can watch it Friday and Saturday nights at 8.30pm on Channel 10.
Scheana Marie Vanderpump Rules goss – Scheana was in town yesterday and I met up with her to get all the goss on Vanderpump Rules and life at SUR. She previewed some great things coming up in the second half of this season – including plenty more love drama between her and Adam – but what was most interesting is that while she insists she doesn't want a spin-off series of her own, she would say yes to being the next Bachelorette in a heartbeat! I actually think that would make for awesome viewing, so if it doesn't happen in the US, I think we should get her back here to try her luck with some Aussie guys!
MAFS recap – You know what? At the start of this season I was loving it! I was watching every episode avidly, thriving on the drama. But I have to say I’m kind of over it. If we thought Ines was bad – which she was – Susie’s behaviour towards Billy is nothing short of bullying. I feel so bad for the poor guy. She clearly wants out, so is just picking on tiny little things and blowing them massively out of proportion. The guy is heartbroken and just beaten down. He asked her to leave after yet another spat last night during his hometown stay, but gosh I hope he actually meant leave his life for good. This relationship is so unhealthy, it needs to end.
Logies voting opens – Voting has officially opened for the 2019 TV Week Logie Awards, and almost all your favourites are nominated – with some notable absences. The big snubs this time around include Rove McManus, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Paul McDermott and Andrew Denton, which means they are then out of contention for the Gold Logie. Last year was a huge milestone for Foxtel, with Andrew Winter up for the Gold, so I’m of course hoping that the fans rally around him once again and he takes home the win this year! You can head to TV Week’s website to start voting now!
