We've all heard it before - something from your childhood that you used to play with all the time, but decades later have forgotten in the attic / closet / shed, suddenly is worth a LOT more than back in the day!
Sunny is a UK Financial Loans company who's blog "Good Vibes" has recently revealed what some iconic toys from the past 40 years are worth now.
Trading cards were worth a lot more back then, and you can pick up a pack quite cheaply these days (that's not to say particular cards won't get you a lot)!
Sega Game Gear (1991)
You can pick one of these babies up for a few buck cheap than what you could in the 90's! Which is good if you're buying...not so much if you're selling.
These guys are breaking even. They cost as much now as they did then - no need to go digging for yours!
You might have seen Kevin Mcallister using one of these in Home Alone. If you had one, you could make a few bucks on it (especially if it is the one from Home Alone)!
WWF Action Figures (1992)
If you have any of these that you're not playing with anymore, you might want to sell them for a reasonable profit (and we all know mint condition, in the packaging will bring in more $).
Tickle Me Elmo (1996)
As much nostalgia (and let' face it, giggles) as this guy brings you, you could make quite a bit of money by getting rid of him! Fetching up to 7 times it's price from the 90's!
TMNT Action Figures (1990)
Again, it goes without saying that mint condition, originally packaged one's will sell for more - but if you can sepearte yourself from them, they'll bring in around 165 times their 90's price!
If you thought that last one was good - you'll be rummaging through the cupboards if you have a 1997 Bandai Tamagotchi. 263 times the original 90's price is what they're going for today!
So - will you be cleaning out the garage this weekend?
